Warehouse Setup Guide
1. Transit Warehouse
Used to track stock items in transit when transferring stock between branches that are not on the same premises.
2. Pending Warehouse
Used for temporarily holding inventory without processing a Return to Supplier (RTS) transaction. This allows items to be reverted later without creating journal entries, while still tracking them via the RTS Lookup form.
Example: Holding wrongly delivered goods.
3. Regional Warehouse:
This option is available in SI+ Version 3, where all branches are linked. If stock is unavailable locally, you can reserve it at the Regional Warehouse.
Setup:
1. Create a Regional Warehouse.
2.Enable Regional Warehouse Usage: Go to Use Regional Warehouse If No Local Stock checkbox.
3. Link the warehouse: Go to in Company > Add or Edit Branches > Regional Warehouse
Default Warehouse Locations
You can set default warehouses in the following locations:
o Pending Warehouse: Stock Item > Stock Options > Select the RTS Tab: Set the default Pending Warehouse
oTransit Warehouse: Stock Item > Stock Options > Select the Warehouse Transfer tab: Select the default Transit Warehouse from the dropdown list.
o Stock Item Warehouse: Stock Item > Select the Cost and Selling Tab > Select the default warehouse from the dropdown list for this inventory Item
o Branch Warehouse: Company > Add or Edit Branches > Select the default warehouse
o Branch Regional Warehouse: Company > Add or Edit Branches > Select the regional warehouse
o Customer Warehouse: Customer > Financial Info tab > Select the default warehouse who this customer belongs to.
o Employee Warehouse: Employee Main Form > Select the warehouse this employee belongs to.
o Packing Warehouse: Quote Sales /Order > Sales Order Options > Select the Packing tab and set the Packing Warehouse
