Customer categories allow you to classify and report on groups of customers. This gives you the opportunity to sort and select customers in reports, perhaps to view the total income from specific types of customers.
Go to Customer Main Form > Classification Tab
Hover the mouse over the different menu options. If the cursor changes to a hand (), then click to go to the subject.
You can customize all the fields by clicking on the Gear Button
You can add or change field names by clicking on the button.
You can produce many reports in customer category sequence. See for example Customer Reports / Extended Lookup and Customer Contacts & Bulk Email.
