Workshop Module Overview
Go to: Workshop (main menu)
SI+ is ideally suited for workshops such as:
•Vehicle garages and auto repair shops
•Computer and electronics repair centers

•Similar job-card-driven operations (e.g., bicycle, motorcycle, or equipment repair)

Key Workshop Reports
The following job card reports are available in the Workshop module:
Access powerful filtered reports directly in the Workshop module:
➢ All Active Job Cards — View every ongoing job in progress.
➢ All Not Active Job Cards — See jobs paused (e.g., awaiting parts, customer approval, or authorization).
➢ All Cancelled Job Cards — Track canceled jobs (Note: Job cards are never deleted — only canceled for audit trail).
➢ Jobs Ready for Collection — Quick list of completed jobs awaiting customer pickup.
➢ Jobs Due Today— Monitor jobs that must be finished by end of day.
➢ Workshop Ready for Collection — A filtered view showing all ready-for-collection jobs still in the workshop.
➢ All Comebacks — Identify returned jobs due to rework, defects, or customer complaints.
How to Create a New Job Card
Choose the method that best fits your workflow:
Method 1: From Job Card Lookup
1. Go to Job Card Lookup. Click Add New Job Card
✓ Ideal when you want to search/view/edit all jobs in one central screen.
Method 2: From a Service Item
1. Go to Workshop > Service Item Lookup.
2. Right-click the relevant item.
3. Select New Job Card For Item from the context menu.
Method 3: Customer Lookup Form
1. Open Customer Lookup and find the customer.
2. Right-click on the customer record.
3. Select New Job For This Customer from the context menu.
→ Fastest when the job is customer-initiated and no prior service item exists.
