How to Create a Quote in Smart-It (Step-by-Step)
1.Start a New Quote
From the top menu bar, click Quote → New Quote.
2.Select the Customer
Choose an existing customer from the list.
If the customer is not yet in the system, use the Quick Add button to create them instantly.
3.Enter Quote Details:
•Fill in the date, and any relevant information about the quote.
•Add the items or services being quoted, along with quantities, rates, and descriptions.
•If applicable, include taxes, discounts, or additional fees.
4.Customize the Quote:
Use the built-in layout designer to add your company logo, adjust the overall design, and include custom notes or terms & conditions.
5.Save, Send, or Print the Quote:
Once complete, save the quote, email it directly to the client, or print it.
You can also convert it immediately to an invoice, job card, or other document.
Tip: Configure required fields in Quote Options to ensure every quote contains all the information your business needs.
