Open CurrenciesStock_Currency_Revaluation

Click the Revaluate button to adjust the average cost price as well as the supplier list price.

An adjustment journal is posted in the general ledger, which reflects the difference between the old and new average costs.

The stock details will also reflect the changes.

Revaluation works only with stock items that have a buying currency filled in the Cost and Selling Prices tab.

On the GRN process, the exchange rate is stored in stock detail.

Revaluation takes into account purchases/GRNs that are still active based on the on-hand quantities. At revaluation, a new stock value is calculated based on the difference between what RoE was and what it is now; it then does a stock adjustment to set the new cost price.

The supplier list (Rand) is also updated based on the supplier list currency (GRN sets the supplier list currency by other suppliers).
