Consignment Stock Movement

Go to: Stock Items > Extra > Consignment Stock

The Consignment Stock Movement form allows you to monitor and track the movement of consignment stock for a specified period.

Before stock items can be included as consignment stock, they must first be marked as Consignment on the Stock Main Form.

Setting a Stock Item as Consignment

To set a stock item as consignment stock:

1. Open the Stock Main Form.

2. Select the Additional Info tab.

3. Enable Consignment.

4. Save the stock item.

Once enabled, the stock item will be treated as a consignment item and can be included in consignment stock movement reporting.

The Consignment Stock Movement form displays:

•Begin Stock: The quantity of consignment stock on hand at the start of the period.

•Received Stock: The quantity of consignment stock received during the period.

•Sold Stock: The quantity of consignment stock sold during the period.

•Inventory Adjustments: Any stock adjustments affecting the consignment stock.

•Ending Stock: The quantity of consignment stock remaining at the end of the period..

Consignment Stock Columns

•Begin Stock: Stock on hand at the beginning of the period.

•Received: Quantity of consignment stock received during the period.

•Sold: Quantity of consignment stock sold during the period.

•Movement: The net movement in stock, calculated as Received - Sold.

•End Stock: The stock remaining at the end of the period, calculated as Begin Stock + Received - Sold.
