General Ledger Account Enquiry
A General Ledger (GL) Account Enquiry form is used to request,or verify detailed information about a specific GL account — its balance, transaction history, and supporting source documents — so users can investigate discrepancies, support reconciliations, or obtain audit evidence.
1.Opening Balance – Account balance at the start of the date range.
2.Net Activity – Total transactions (debits & credits) during the date range.
3.Closing Balance – Account balance at the end of the date range.

Restricting GL Account Enquiry Accounts
If you want to limit the display / access of accounts to a certain security group, use the Restrict To column in the General Ledger Account setup.
